Drifter Recycle will specifically deal with secondary recycling where the material is used for products that require lesser properties than those of the original material. Typical ex. is the recycling of post-consumer plastics waste for the production of plant pots, urban-household furnishings, garbage bags, DCC.
Giving the desired shape to the product with various methods such as molding, extrusion, calendering, casting.
It can also be used for plastic materials, but only if the initial viscosity of the used systems is very low.
Possibility to create smaller objects but with a higher production speed compared to 3D printing. Usually less precise and detailed but with lower costs.
Brand new technology, allows the construction of everything, fantasy and tecnical design are the only limits.
Where you can get artifacts with three-dimensional shapes, even completely asymmetrical and can have dimensions between a few millimeters and a few meters.
The forming takes place by pushing the polymer "melt" through a die whose purpose is to impart the desired shape. The shape of the article is stabilized by cooling. This is done by means of an extruder. The latter is nothing more than a pump suitable for moving and compressing viscous polymeric fluids.
The research and development sector will make use of technicians, engineers, chemists, biologists and designers to look for the modalities and the study of the recycled plastic material in order to obtain a final product to be introduced in the market and at the same time to look for the solution, recycling process that are useful for the growth of the island, under various aspects at the infrastructural and socio-cultural level. All this in an ethical, sustainable and innovative way for a greener future and a cleaner planet.
